Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP)
Heat sealable on both sides. Innocuous to the transfer of odors and flavors. Additionally, it contains a migratory package of sliding and antistatic additives that provide excellent machinability in all types of automatic packaging. The untreated face offers a wide sealing range and is formulated with a non-migratory polymeric additive that maintains excellent slip over a wide range of processing temperatures. The surface treatment is on the outer face of the coil. Designed to be used in a wide variety of conversion processes and packaging of all types of industrial or food products in wraps, by themselves or in laminations. Meets FDA regulations for direct contact with food. Its sealing properties allow it to be used in a number of final applications with fin or lap seals, in automatic vertical or horizontal packaging machines.
Cast Polypropylene
The co-extruded non-oriented cast film is designed to provide high sealability with an optimum balance in transparency, rigidity, slip and tear resistance. It has an excellent resilience and resistance to abrasion. Its formulation produces an excellent moisture barrier. Designed to be used both as a monolayer in different types of bags and in laminations with other substrates. Meets FDA regulations for direct contact with food. Its sealing properties allow it to be used in a number of end applications with side welds, or with clamped fin or lap seals and in all types of manual or automatic packaging machines.
