PAPELPACK
Papelpack is a trademark created, designed, and developed by Plastipack SA from a combination of high performance polymers. Its polymeric structure allows products manufactured with Papelpack to obtain better mechanical properties than conventional polymers, adapting better to the product that is going to be packed. Papelpack is a degradable material, versatile in its applications, with a pleasant feeling to the touch when being handled, apt to be used at high temperatures, high performance polymeric sheets developed for the food industry as a separator of portions: hamburgers, cheeses and cold meats.
APPLICATIONS
Papelpack is designed for the manufacture of all types of packaging with different uses, among the best known:
- Wraps for ready-to-eat foods such as hamburger holders, sandwich wraps, frying pockets, pizza sheets, cutlery pockets, singles, tablecloths, among others.
- Bags and packages for restaurants, homes, fast food chains, bakeries, and stores.
- Separators of frozen or raw food.
- All types of wraps for catering and food infrastructure.
PERFORMANCE AND PRODUCT EFFICIENCY
- It is resistant to water, grease, wear and tear. It allows the absorption of fats without being transferred to the other side and breaks.
- It is on average 15% less than other conventional materials (Waxed paper, waxing, aluminum paper, polyethylene, paper).
- This ensures obtaining greater units per kilogram of processed material, generating savings in raw materials, energy, and storage space; reducing the environmental impact.
- As it is a material that allows a high definition in the printing, designs with high visual impact are achieved.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
- Papelpack is a polymeric material used with d2w technology, which is an additive for plastics that accelerates the degradation process. making this a material friendly to the environment.
- It has a certificate that is 100% oxo -biodegradable = it takes between 18 and 24 months to decompose.
SAFETY AND SECURITY FOR ELEMENTS
- The PaperPack® material is suitable for direct contact with food.
- It does not allow the migration of ink and / or additives to them, complying with the requirements of innocuousness and good manufacturing practices, established by INVIMA and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
